The Unlikely Heroes of Yesterday is a Player vs. Enviroment guild that has dedicated itself to helping players defeat missions and chapters of Guild Wars. We are a small, but close guild that likes nothing more than helping out fellow guildmates.

The Guild Leader is more than willing to help out a guildmate in any of the three chapters and expansion. Her favorite quote (other than "dadgummit" wink is "Happy Gaming" because no matter what, a game should ALWAYS be fun. She has defeated all three games and the expansion making her your most likely mission helper. She is on daily, speaks on vent, encourages other guildies to be more outgoing, and offers her e-mail address to anyone who needs to contact her off of Guild Wars.

The Guild Officers are online at least once a week, but most are on nightly. Some of the Guild Officers have defeated at least one of the three games and enjoy helping members do the same. Some guild officers like to dabble in Alliance Battling, Scrimmages in the guild hall, or venturing to the Underworld.

The Unlikely Heros of Yesterday is a Luxon guild. We have a stocked Wizards Isle guild hall. Wizards Isle is a Pre-Searing focused hall. We use vent, but it is not required. We have an alliance though many of the alliance members do not talk on Guild Wars but rather on Ventrilo. Our Vent Server currently holds 40 people.

That's right, even though we are PvE focused guild there are a few of us that dabble in Alliance Battles for pure enjoyment. After all, when you have defeated all the games what else is there to do (if no one needs your help)? We're a hoot to AB with because we don't mind if we lose since, well...we're a PvE guild! Our AB motto is "Go with what is fun." We will often be seen mocking those who use Cookie Cutter (PvX) builds because not only are they not creative, but many of them are rather boring. Games are made to be fun so live a little! We don't care what build you have as long as you enjoy it!!

We ask that all members be active at least once every 2 months or face being kicked (we fully support a life away from the keyboard). All Guild Officers are to be active at least once a week or face demotion. There are exceptions to the rules if you contact the Guild Leader and let her know that you will be gone for longer than the time allotted. We ask that you keep the guild chat clean, do not beg for money or other items, do not flame other members, do not cheat or scam ANY player, and do not spam in local of any town.

[UHOY] is looking to keep the roster under 40 players because we like the idea of being more of a family guild instead of a giant "who are these people" guild. We attend events together, chat together, goof off in AB together, have dodge ball games in the hall, some play in Pre-Searing together and for the most part goof around in towns together.

Please do not join if you are thinking of leaving Guild Wars soon. If you are looking for free rides all around the three games. If you are a leecher (because you'll be wasting your time in UHOY, you earn your keeps). If you rather do more PvP then PvE. If you insist that you are ALWAYS right ("know it alls" are looked down upon in this guild.) If you are not respectful of others. If you're wanting to be an instant officer (sorry, officers earn their rank).

We run on GMT: -7 (central) but many guild members are either Texans or in Cali (so we're all over the place) If you cannot contact Dervish Gnome then contact the guild officer Sugr the Blessed (she's basically second in command). [UHOY] will be more than willing to welcome you into the family.

Please feel free to contact Dervish Gnome. We ask that your guild at least have 10 members who are fairly active, your guild has been around for at least a month, that you follow ToS and the Guild rules, be polite on Vent, act mature even if you're young (for the most part), and that you have a serious interest in staying in the alliance for awhile. Remember, we are a LUXON guild and that means that a Kurzick guild cannot align with us. Thought I would put that reminder out there since we've had some issues with people not knowing that fact.
